What the first two weeks of a cloud engineering cohort actually look like
4 February 20267 min read
Week one is orientation, not acceleration. You will confirm access to the classroom, the repo templates, and the cadence: live sessions, async prep, and where to ask questions so answers help everyone.
By the end of week two, most learners have completed their first meaningful infrastructure exercise — often a small but real IaC change with a clear rollback story. We emphasise reading diffs, reasoning about blast radius, and writing a short change note: habits hiring managers recognise.
If you are joining part-time, expect to protect two focused blocks per week outside class. The programme is designed for working professionals, but honesty about your calendar is the biggest predictor of keeping up.
